What is the Sub-Conscious Mind. We should have some information about the Sub-conscious Mind becuase it is part of us.

We must first understand that the brain and the mind are not the same, as many people believe.

The brain is the physical muscle that the mind utilizes and works through to carry out a portion of its functions. (Conscious functions or physical) Since the mind is spiritual in nature, it must have physical components to carry out the tasks it needs to accomplish. That is where the brain comes in to the picture.

When the eye sees something that it wants, the thought vibrations (coming from the conscious mind) are formed. In order to take any further action, say for example to pick up the object, the conscious mind, must then create another thought which sends a signal to the brain to instruct the arm and hand to move and pick the object up.

During this process a whole series of mental and physical processes took place. The thought, (spiritual) was formed in the mind, which began an electrochemical physical process in the brain, which carried out its instructions. The result, of the initial thought (spiritual) became complete as can be evidenced by the object being held in the hand. (Physical) The unseen (thought) became physical which became your reality.

The radiant energy of the communicator is used to produce telepathic wave forms which span the distance between the communicator and the medium from this realise that are not necessary for the spirit communicator to be in close proximity to the medium. One is the transmitter and the other is a receiver with telepathic wave forms connecting one to the other. This energy is received upon the consciousness, known as signals that are amplified as they pass from the receptors in the etheric body, down by the natural route to the physical brain and conscious mind. It is then the etheric brain and subconscious mind first, then the physical brain and conscious mind second.

Scientifically, the mind is a mystery and its function of consciousness a void of map of understanding. The conscious and sub-conscious levels may be understood as another aspect of the polarity phenomenon, especially when we understand that mediumship utilises the unconscious or subjective mind, a fact which is true also relation to dreams, where the subconscious impulses are registered at a conscious level a state which is parallel to normal subjective mediumship.

If you consider that your brain/mind is receiving information all the time whether we realise it or not and that this information comes not only from the physical world but from spirit as well. Then you get a picture of the sub conscious mind as a receiver and recorder of information with the conscious mind controlling the body functions and processing the information from the physical senses. Mediumship is the process of the mediums conscious mind accessing information received by the subconscious mind.  An example of this can be seen when information about an event can be gained through hypnosis from the sub conscious mind of a witness.
